Leave Tafi and ascend to "El Infiernillo" pass, continuing beyond into the dry Calchaqui valleys for birding the endemic "Monte" desert.

Morning birding the monte habitats, looking for endemics and specialties - in the afernoon, drive through the vineyards of Cafayate and the stunning views of Quebrada de las Conchas, towards Moldes.

The Yavi hamlet is a typical locality in the altiplano, with adobe houses and a great scenery. Just few miles from the hotel we will find the habitats for the specialities of this area.

Leaving Yavi we will visit the Laguna Pozuelos reserve, a huge Altiplano lake. Then we continue our way down to Yala, located nearby Alder forest habitats. Night tour.

AM birding around Yala and afternoon flight to Buenos Aires. Check-in at hotel for dinner and overnight.
